World Scrabble Championships 2005

Following the conclusion of the 2005 Singapore National Scrabble Championship, which also marks the effective end of our WSC qualifying period, Singapore's nominated representatives are:

Tony Sim (qualifies as 2004 National Champion)
Goh Jiang Pern (qualifies as 2005 National Champion)
Cheah Siu Hean (qualifies as highest rated player as at the end of qualifying period)

(Andy Kurnia will be the reserve player if any of the aforementioned are unable to attend.)

Update: We are advised as of 2 November 2005 that, owing to work commitments, Tony Sim will be unable to participate in the 2005 World Scrabble Championship. In accordance with established procedures for Singapore, Tony will therefore be substituted for by the reserve, Andy Kurnia, and Hubert Wee becomes reserve player.
