Qualifying Period

The qualifying period ("QP") is from 1 November 2026 to 30 June 2027.

Byes awarded to a player during the QP will count towards the 24-game minimum requirements; byes conceded by a player will not count towards this.

Selection Criteria

Singapore is expected to receive 10 spots for WYSC 2027 which will be allocated as follows:

  1. 8 spots to the top-rated eligible qualifiers at the end of the QP; and
  2. 2 spots to the top-rated eligible qualifiers below the age of 13 (as of 1 January 2027).

In the event that a qualifier meets both selection criteria (i) and (ii), he/she will qualify under selection criterion (i).

Any remaining spot(s) not allocated under selection criterion (ii) will be awarded to the next top-rated eligible qualifier(s) who has/have not already qualified under selection criterion (i).

The WYSC entry fee will be waived for the eligible qualifiers.
