2018 SA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING | NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is given that the 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Scrabble Association will commence on Saturday 17^th March 2018 at 6.30 p.m. at Jurong Green CC after the close of the play of the first day of the JGCC Open. The meeting may be adjourned to recommence at a subsequent place and time if the meeting’s business cannot be concluded in one sitting. Any changes to the schedule will be emailed to members and also posted to the Events page of Toucanet.

Matters Arising
To consider and adopt the minutes of the 2017 Annual General Meeting. These were circulated in the 2017 1Q issue of this newsletter.
To approve the Audited Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2017. As this newsletter is scheduled to go to print before the accounts are finalized, the audited accounts will be circulated via email before the AGM and included in the next issue for the record.
To elect the committee for the 2018-2020 term. Toh Weibin steps down as elected Treasurer as specified by the constitution; the committee requests a volunteer to succeed him as Treasurer.
To elect two new Honorary Auditors for the year to 31 December 2018. Many thanks to Sharon Chia and Catherine Tong for serving as Honorary Auditors for 2017.
